SriLankan Airlines will revisit its already approved business plan as initial intentions to turnaround in one year gets shelved.
The previous business plan to restructure the loans from the two state banks are underway but now the airline wants to find foreign institutions to borrow in future, SriLankan Airlines Chairman Ashok Pathirage said at the media briefing on Monday in Colombo.
The only foreign borrowing has been so far from Credit Suisse of $30 million, he said.
Recovery plans at present are likely to bring the airline's operations back by 40 per cent by December and about 70 per cent by March next year.
