SriLankan Airlines took delivery of a A320-Neo aircraft today at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
After religious ceremonies the 150 seat aircraft was received at the BIA.
Chief Executive Officer of SriLankan airlines Suren Ratwatte said that aircraft is fuel efficient and by next year they hope to have five of these aircrafts.
The aircrft is to be deployed to Indian and Middle eastern destinations.
Chairman Ajith Dias was also present at the event.
