Supreme Court Judge Mr. K.T. Chithrasiri was sworn in as the Acting Chief Justice before President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday at the Presidential Secretariat. Secretary to the President Austin Fernando was also present in the occasion.
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to vacate his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo this morning, a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) source said.
