The Supreme Court today upheld a decision by the Appeal Court that Galle district parliamentarian Geetha Kumarasinghe cannot hold a parliamentary seat as she holds dual citizenship.
The judgment was delivered by Supreme Court Judge Sisira de Abrew who was a member of five-judge-bench which heard the appeal when the case was taken up for hearing.
