The Supreme Court yesterday (September 17) announced that it had referred its determination on the 20th amendment to the constitution to Speaker Karu Jayasuriya.
The Supreme Court made the announcement after deliberating 14 petitions filed across 4 days.
A short while later, the official car of the Commander of the Navy, bearing plate NAHA 5006, departed from Navy House, Longdon Place, Colombo 7.
