A suspect has been arrested over a double murder that took place in Horana yesterday.
Police Media Unit stated that three people had been attacked at the employee quarters of a factory at Aramanagolla in Horana following a dispute. The victims had been assaulted with a hammer, resulting in two persons being killed and another injured.
The deceased, aged 33 and 53 are residents of Hettipola and Kegalle. A suspect has been arrested in connection with the murders and Horana police are conducting further investigations.
