An individual suspected to be an accomplice of underworld leader 'Angoda Lokka' was arrested in Madiwela over the possession of 42.4 grams of heroin today (Feb 11).
The suspect who has been identified as 39-year old S.G.C Chamath Wasantha was arrested by officials of the Organised Crimes Preventive Division.
A senior police officer said that the suspect would be produced before courts by the police seeking an interim order to carry out further questioning.
