The temperature in certain areas of the country has exceeded normal levels, the Meteorology Department said.
According to the Meterology Department, the temperature in Vavuniya has increased by four degree Celcius more than the normal limit.
The temperature in the Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Ratmalana, Jaffna, and Katugastota areas has also increased by three degree Celcius.
Similar temperature fluctuations are also being experienced in the Anuradhapura, Kurunegala, Puttalam, Ratnapura, and Trincomalee areas.
