A theft has been reported at the residence of a relative of Easter attack mastermind Mohamed Zahran in Kattankudy, Police said.
According to the Police, the house had belonged to the parents-in-law of Zahran's brother Rilwan who have been remanded over the Easter Sunday bombings.
Rilwan had died after committing suicide at a safehouse in Sainthamaruthu on April 26 - five days after the attacks on April 21.
Police noted that a television and a mobile phone had been stolen from the residence. Kattankudy police are conducting further investigations into the theft.
