The third suspect in the Matara stabbing incident who was arrested by the Police Intelligence Unit yesterday has been remanded until December 03.
The remand order was issued when the suspect was produced before the Matara Magistrates court today (Nov 28).
The first and the second suspects have also been remanded until December 03 after they surrendered before the Magistrates Court and Senior Superintendent of the Matara Police respectively.

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to vacate his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo this morning, a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) source said.
The Presidents’ Entitlements (Repeal) Bill was passed by a majority of 150 in parliament today. However the opposition MP’s were absent during the voting.
