Thirty suspects have been arrested while attempting to migrate illegally via seas off the Southern Province today (Mar 07).
The arrest was carried out by Navy personnel who were on an inspection patrol on two Fast Attack Craft earlier today.
The vessel used the illegal migrants was 80 nautical miles away from land at the time of the arrest, Navy officials said.
Navy officials added that the vessel along with the suspects are currently being brought towards the shore.
