Three kilos of heroin discovered near the Southern Expressway
Around three kilograms of heroin was discovered in the vicinity of the Kurundugahahetekma interchange of the Southern Expressway last night.
The narcotic was seized by officers attached to the Police Narcotics Bureau at around 11:30 pm, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said.
No suspects have been arrested in connection with the seizure so far. The PNB is carrying out further investigations in this regard.
