Three governors received their appointments from President Maithripala Sirisena today (Aug 5), the President's Media Division said.
Accordingly, the new appointments are as follows :
Governor's Gunaratne and Tennakoon tendered their resignations to the President over the weekend along with Marshal Perera who also resigned as governor for the Uva Province last week.
