Three persons were sentenced to death after being convicted over charges of killing and injuring a person, by the Kurunegala High Court yesterday (Aug 2).
The Attorney General had initially filed charges against four persons for hacking a person to death and causing injuries to another in Pohorawatte in 2005.
However, one suspect had been acquited of all charges yesterday.
