The Meteorological Department says thundershowers and severe lightning could be experienced in the Sabaragamuwa, Central, Western, and North Western provinces in the afternoon today (Nov 15).
The Department also forecasted similar weather conditions in the Galle and Matara Districts.
Showers upto about 100 mm can be expected at some places in the Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces and the Kurunegala district.
In addition, several spells of showers will occur in the Northern and Eastern provinces and also in the Polonnaruwa and Hambantota districts, the forecast read.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at other places after 2.00 p.m.
