Train services disrupted along upcountry line

Train services along the upcountry railway line were disrupted this morning after a train derailment.

According to the Railway Main Control Room, the night mail from Fort to Badulla derailed between Ella and Demodara railway stations. 

Steps are underway to restore services along the line.
