The transfers of 10,000 police officers which were due to take effect from February 1 have been postponed till May 1, Police Headquarters said today. The scheduled transfers will come to effective from May 1.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
