The police arrested the tweleve Indian nationals, including seven females, in Kattankudy in Batticaloa district as they were engaged in business having arrived on tourist visas,ANI reported.
The police said the group was engaged in the trade of medicinal drugs in several areas across the country. Herbal oils and other herbal products were seized from the possession of the arrested Indians. Those arrested will be produced before the Batticaloa Magistrate's Court on Saturday.
