Two Indian nationals arrested with 53 kg of Kerala Cannabis
Naval personnel attached in Delft Island apprehended two Indian nationals along with a fishing boat in the sea area North of Delft Island yesterday, Navy said.
During the arrest, the suspects had 53 kg of Kerala Cannabis in their possession and it is suspected that the contraband has been smuggled to Sri Lanka form India via sea route. The two Indian nationals and the stock of cannabis were handed over to the Kankesanthurai Police for further investigations.
