Two students of the Jaffna University have been arrested following a search operation today (May 03), police said.
Police arrested the Jaffna University Students Union President and Secretary following a search operations within the University premises.
During search operations photos and posters of LTTE Leader Prabhakaran were discovered.
Police have identified the suspects as 27-year old Navaratnam Divaharan, and 25-year old Sivaraja Babilaraj.
They will be produced before the Jaffna Magistrate's Court today.
The search operation was collaboratively carried out by the Army, Police and the Special Task Force.
