Two Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) buses plying towards Mannar from Puttalam have been attacked in Bogoda, Tantirimale this morning.
Police said that gun shots had been fired at one bus while the other had been attacked with stones.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the incident although damage has been caused to the buses which are attached to the Kurunegala Bus Depot.
An investigation has been launched into the incident after the bus drivers had filed complaints with the Chettikulam Police.
