Two nabbed with heroin worth Rs 500 m at entry point of Southern Expressway
Two persons have been arrested with heroin worth Rs 500 million at the Athurugiriya entry point of the Southern Expressway today (Oct 7).
Fifty kilograms of heroin had been recovered from the suspects at the time of the arrest.
Police said the suspects had been transporting the narcotic by concealing it in two sacks in a luxury vehicle.
