Two suspects arrested in Kalpitiya with gold worth more than Rs 20 millions

Two suspects were arrested yesterday by the Navy while transporting more than 5 kilograms of gold in the sea area off Kimbulbokka in Kalpitiya.

The suspects were transporting the gold in a boat which was intercepted by Sri Lanka Navy personnel. The gold is estimated to be worth around Rs 20 million.
