Ukranian captain of Avant-Garde vessel arrested

The Ukranian captain of the Avant-Garde vessel has been remanded in custody till July 5 after being produced before the Galle Magistrate's Court. 

The suspect was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at the Galle harbor last night in connection with an ongoing investigation regarding the vessel.
