Unannounced power interruptions maybe experienced these days due to the drop in water levels, Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) sources said.
These interruptions might occur since hydro power plant have been producing less electricity owing to the drop in water levels these days.
Accordingly, the CEB source said that intermittent power outages might occur in several parts of the country as it tried to ensure a smooth balance and functioning of the plant.
