A fuel station in Thalangama was robbed at around 7:30 pm today (Mar 23) by two unidentified gunmen who had arrived on a motorcycle.
Police said that the gunmen had threatened the employees at the fuel station by firing gun shots in the air.
The two individuals had then proceeded to steal the money belonging to the fuel station and also the money which was in the possession of the employees.
Police have not determined the amount of money which was stolen from the fuel station.
Further investigations are being carried out by the Thalangama police.
