Funeral proceedings of veteran film Director Dr.Lester James Peries will be held at the Independence Square in Colombo at 4 p.m. on May 2.
President Maithripala Sirisena instructed that the funeral be conducted with full state honours, earlier today. Dr.Lester James Peries passed away at the age of 99, last night.
