UPFA General Secretary, Mahinda Amaraweera said they would support the Vote on Account (VoA) to be presented in Parliament today by Finance Minister, Mangala Samaraweera.
Speaking in PArliament Mr Amaraweera said if the VoA was not passed, it would be impossible to even pay the salaries of public servants.

The Colombo–Kandy main road at Pahala Kadugannawa has been closed indefinitely after a deadly rockfall in the area that left six people dead and four others injured.
