The Nikaweratiya Veterinary Office has commenced treating a baby elephant severely injured after biting into a "Hakka Patas."
The baby elephant, who is about one year of age, has been severely injured and is unable to eat properly due to injuries to its mouth.
However, vets and officers from the Department of Wildlife Conservation have now come to its assistance.
