A voter turnout of 80 percent has been recorded at this year's presidential election, a senior Election Commission official said.
Meanwhile, ballot boxes are being transported to counting centres after voting ended at 5 pm.
The poll, which saw 35 candidates contesting for the top job in the country, had taken place across 12,845 voting centres from 7 am.
