A wasp attack at a tea estate in Bogawantalawa has left 15 workers hospitalised today (Aug 21).
The incident is believed to have taken place at around 11 am.
Among the injured workers were four men and eleven women.
A victim said that the wasps had attacked the workers after an eagle had attempted to damage a hive on a tree at the estate.
