Water cut in Maharagama and surrounding areas tomorrow
A 24-hour water cut will be imposed in Maharagama and its surrounding areas tomorrow (Jan 7), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.
According to the NWSDB, the water cut will be in effect from 9 am tomorrow until 9 am the following day due to maintenance work on a water supply line carrying water from Kalatuwawa to Maharagama.
The following areas will be affected by the water cut :
- Maharagama
- Boralesgamuwa
- Kottawa
- Pannipitiya
- Rukmalgama
- Pelanwatta
- Mattegoda
- Homagama
- Meepe
- Padukka
