Parliamentarian Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe visited with Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galaboda Aththe Gnanasara Thero at the Welikada Prison hospital today (May 04).
Mr. Rajapakshe had arrived at the hospital at around 10 am following which he had held talks with the Thero who has been admitted to the Ward 1 of the Welikada Prison Hospital, Prison sources said.
Recently, the BBS General Secretary urged that the Vesak and Poson Festivals should not be held owing to an alleged impending attack on 50 Buddhist Temples in the country.
He had made this remark upon conclusion of a hearing at the premises of the Homagama Magistrates Court. During this instance Gnanasara Thero had said that those willing to obtain information on the possible attacks should do so by visiting him in prison.
