Popular actor Kavinga Perea involved in a fatal accident was arrested and remanded until March 3.
The actor proceeding in his car knocked down and killd a road construction worker around midnight yesterday in the Thalangama police area.
The accident took place on the Battaramulla – Pannipitiya area around 12.45 am.
The victim was a 42 year old worker who was assisting in marking the pedestrian crossing.
He produced before Kaduwela Magistrate Prasanna Alwis.
