Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced that it had extended the deadline for registrations of overseas players for the upcoming Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2022.
Accordingly, overseas players who wish to register for the third edition of the LPL, can submit their names on or before June 28.
“The decision to extend the deadline for the registration of overseas players was taken following several requests made by the players and also franchise owners of the league. Originally, the registration process was expected to complete on June 23,” issuing a statement, SLC said.
With this change, players can submit their names via the registration portal by using the link https://srilankacricket.lk/lpl-player-registration on or before 12:00pm (IST) on June 28.
The overseas players will be registered under categories such as International Ruby, International Sapphire, International Diamond ‘A’, and ‘B’, and International Platinum.
