Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe has issued an Extraordinary Gazette Notification on Monday revoking the Stabilization Committee of Sri Lanka Rugby.
In April this year appointed the Stabilization Committee to run the affairs of Sri Lanka Rugby for six months period. The committee was headed by Chula Dharmadasa.
However in July this year, the Court of Appeal issued an interim order to halt the implementation of the Sports Minister’s gazette notification that suspended the activities of Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) and its chairman, Rizly Illyas.
