In the qualifiers match held today against the Oman men a-fer in the tournament and Lahiru Kumara expressed himself brilliantly with the new ball to restrict lacklustre Omanis for a paltry 98 runs, Sri Lanka raced to victory in the 15th over.
The win help Sri Lanka reached the top of the group B points table.
Hasaranga who claimed a career-best six wickets against UAE in the first game finished with 5 for 13 while Kumara returned figures of 3 for 22.
Ayan Khan made 41 for the Omanis.
Sri Lanka was never challenged in their run chase as openers Pathum Nissanka and Dimuth Karunaratne took Sri Lanka home comfortably. Karunaratne made 61 off 51, his fourth half century in a row, since returning to the ODI side after a gap of two years. Nissanka remained unbeaten on 37.
