Yasith de Silva defeated the defending Men's Singles champion Sharmal Dissanayake while Anika Seneviratne dominated over Janali Manamperi to defend her Women's Singles title at the Sri Lanka Tennis Nationals 2020, which concluded on Sunday (17).
Yasitha de Silva defeated Sharmal Dissanayake in the first set 7-6 in a close battle, after the set went to a tie-breaker.
Soon after Dissanayake withdrew in the second set after suffering an injury, which gave Yasitha his first National title.
Anika Seneviratne romped to victory in the Women's Singles final as she totally dominated against Janali Manamperi with a 2-0 victory, to claim her second National title.
