Spinner Maheesh Theekshana has been ruled out of tomorrow’s opening game against South Africa, Sri Lanka Coach Chris Silverwood confirmed today.
Theekshana who joined the team on Wednesday is still recovering from the hamstring injury he sustained during the Asia Cup and was selected subject to fitness.
Silverwood said that they are trying to get him play from the second game onwards, even though, he is only ready for the third game
