Colombo Lions beat Pakistan Peshwar WolfPack by 24-0 in the opening game of the EFLI Triangular American Football Triangular Tournament played at the Racecourse in Colombo on Friday (4).
The winners led the halftime by 10-0 as Kasun touched down twice for the winning team.
Shenal and Mevan made a touchdown each as Colombo Lions made a morale boosting start before their second and final game next Friday (11) against the local side Jaffna Bulls.
Kasun and Shenal produced a running play each in their side's win.
The second game between Jaffna Bulls and Peshawar WolfPak will take place on Tuesday at 4.30pm at the Racecourse ground.
