The Mercantile Athletic Association (MAA) has extended the deadline for calling in entries for the 33rd Mercantile Athletic Championship, which will be held at Diyagama from August 20 to 22.
According to MAA officials, 50 applications have been submitted so far from the local Mercantile sector while over 100 athletes representing the Indian Mercantile sector are expected to take part.
Considering on giving the local fraternity more space, the MAA has decided to extend the closing day of calling in entries until August 2.
