Badminton: Junior shutters impress in Spain

The Sri Lanka Junior Badminton team taking part in the World Junior Badminton Championships 2016 at Bilbhawo city in Spain finished in the 36th position at the conclusion of team events will have to come out with a much improved performance in the Singles events to give the badminton fans back at home some consolation. 

The young shuttlers started off on a winning note defeating Lethuania 3-0 and Norway 3-2 but missed the bus to reach either the 33rd or the 34th position by going down to Bulgaria 3-1 and dropped further down to the 36th position by losing 3-0 to Peru.
