The completion of the knockout stages the Inter-Club Billiards and Snooker Championships conducted by the Billiards and Snooker Association of Sri Lanka saw defending champions Moors SC and Army SC qualifying to all the four finals. The tournament also saw the participation of 11 teams around the island which were divided into four divisions. Moors SC who are the defending champions in the Division ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ went one step ahead to book a berth to the Division D final too this year. Army SC the defending champions of Division ‘D’ is now one of the leading clubs in the cue sport arena as they have raked in some top class cueists to their ranks and would be a side to be reckoned with in the future. Automobile Association Club (AAC) was the only other team to secure a berth to the final when they qualified to the Division ‘D’ final where they will confront Army SC. The four finals are scheduled to be played today in two venues at the Otters AC and AAC billiards table from 10.00 a.m. onwards. The schedule of matches: At Otters AC 10.00am: Division ‘D’ final between Army SC and Automobile AC. 4.00pm: Division ‘A’ final between Moors SC and Army SC. At AAC 10.00am: Division ‘C’ final between Moors SC and Army SC. 2.00pm: Army SC vs Moors SC.
