Air Commodore Roshan Biyanwila was elected Secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) at its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held at the SLC premises on Sunday (7).

It was earlier tipped that Assistant Secretary Ravin Wickramaratne would take the position created by De Silva's promotion, but Biyanwila, who had earned respect of his colleagues at SLC as an efficient and honest official, was elected uncontested to the vital position.
