Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has appointed Charith Senanayake as the Manager of the national team with effect from today (25).
Senanayake, who served at the same capacity during 2016, was the manager of Sri Lanka 'A' team when his reappointment was made.
"SLC wishes to announce the appointment of Charith Senanayake as the Manager of the National Team. His appointment will be in effect from July 25 to September 30," SLC, in a statement said.
Senanayake will function as the manager of the national team, up until the conclusion of the Asia Cup, which will be played in September this year.
