Gold Coast Junior Cricket Academy of Australia will be making a tour of Sri Lanka to play a series of matches with Sri Lanka Junior Cricket academies and schools from March 25.
The touring junior Aussies will take on Panadura Cricket Coaching School’s Under 17 team on Sunday (27) at the Surrey Cricket ground in Maggona.
On March 30 the Under 13 cricketers of the Panadura CA meet the young Australians at the De Soysa Stadium in Moratuwa.
Richard Griffith will accompany the Gold Course Junior Academy to Sri Lanka as the Head Coach while Nilanka Perera will be in-charge of the Under 17 team.
The team is managed by Arul Ratnam.
A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
