Sri Lanka cricket captain Angelo Mathews, who suffered a calf tear on his right leg during the fourth One Day International against Australia at Dambulla, has been forced to stay out of action for at least six weeks.
Mathews had told reporters last week that he still feels the pain on the injured leg and will take some time to fully recover.
Sri Lanka will take wings for their a tour to Zimbabwe on October 26 and Mathews hope he will be able to come back fresh before that.
Sri Lanka will play two Tests, three ODIs and a T20I against Zimbabwe but Zimbabwe Cricket recently announced that an ODI Triangular also featuring West Indies is a possibility to replace the Test series.
