Sri Lanka Under-23s led by Angelo Perera, beat Pakistan Under-23s by 5 wickets to win the ACC Emerging Cricket Tournament in the final played at Chittagong in Bangladesh on Sunday (2).
Batting first Pakistan were skittled out for 133 with 47 deliveries remaining and Sri Lanka reached the victory target losing five wickets with 25.5 overs to spare.
Allrounder Shehan Jayasuriya claimed three wickets while Wanindu Hasaranga and Chamika Karunaratne picked two wickets each.
In their run chase opener Sadeera Samarawickrama top scored with 45 off 42 balls for the winners while Hasaranga and Kithruwan Vithanage remained unbeated on 22 and 20 respectively.
