Former Sri Lanka player Thilina Kandambi announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Tuesday (8) in the midst of the ICC Twenty20 Cricket World Championship.
Kandambi (33) represented Sri Lanka in 39 One Day Internationals and five T20 Internationals, represented SSC in the concluded SLC Premier Championship.
He represented the country at Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 level and was a regular member of the Sri Lanka ‘A’ team before reaching the top level.
