The 34th Travel Trade Sports Club Hardball Cricket 'Sixes' 2016, sponsored by Cinnamon Grand Colombo, scheduled to be held on Saturday (15) at Thurstan College Grounds has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances.
The tournament will now be held on the Deepavali Festival day, October 29, the venue remaining the same.
So far, the Sponsors, Cinnamon Grand Colombo, Aitken Spence Travels, Connaissance de Ceylan, Sri Lankan Airlines, Amja Travels, Waters Edge and Walkers/ Whittalls have confirmed their participation.
The closing of entries have been extended till Monday (24) 3.00pm.
At the previous tournament held on November 28, 2015 at the BRC Grounds, Cinnamon red won the tournament, Sri Lankan Airlines, runners up.
This will be the 7th tournament in the TTSC 2016 Sports Events Calendar, having completed the Carrom, Archery, Bowling, Soccer-Sevens, Badminton and the Softball Cricket Sixes.

In his special statement, President Ranil Wickremesinghe announced that debt restructuring agreements will postpone all bilateral loan payments to foreign countries until 2028. Additionally, Sri Lanka will have until 2043 to repay these loans on concessional terms.
